Atrial fibrillation is an ever growing endemic with a significant risk of associated complications such as stroke and heart failure. Cardiac imaging is key to supporting diagnosis, managing and monitoring therapy and predicting risk, however there are multiple challenges associated with imaging in this condition.
This webinar is focused on highlighting these challenges and providing information on how multi-modality imaging can be used to explore the anatomy and physiology of the atria, to support risk stratification, to determine the nature in co-existing valve disease and to establish the central role in the cath lab during interventional procedures. This webinar will provide insight whilst empowering practitioners to better understand the theoretical, methodological and practical implications of imaging in atrial fibrillation.
