Four finalists have been shortlisted for the British Society of Echocardiography’s (BSE) Investigator of the Year 2025.

With a record high number of submissions, the judges were once again impressed by the excellent quality of this year’s abstracts.

Ms Jo Sopala, Chief Executive, said “Each year we are blown away by the standard and number of submissions and we doubt that they can be surpassed the following year. Thank you to everyone who has submitted abstracts this year for exceeding our expectations once again. We hope that everyone attending BSEcho 2025 will take the time to explore such interesting work.”

The four finalists will present at BSEcho 2025 in Bournemouth, during the Investigator of the Year session on Saturday 11 October 2025 at 14:45.
