New diastolic function poster launched

Published 03/06/2024

The British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) is delighted to launch a new poster on the assessment of left ventricular diastolic function.

The poster includes the key data and recommendations from today’s publication,  The assessment of left ventricular diastolic function: Guidance and recommendations from the British Society of Echocardiography.

The poster has been created by Mr Shaun Robinson, Consultant Clinical Scientist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Mr Robinson, who is also the lead author on the guideline said, “The BSE reference posters are an excellent resource for echocardiographers and their departments, providing key information and guidance from the latest BSE guidelines. The diastolic poster includes the three core algorithms that are central to the assessment of diastolic function and is an excellent and highly convenient visual reference for all to benefit from.”

The poster will be sent to BSE members in the June 2024 edition of ECHO magazine and is also available to download and print at home. There will also be copies available for collection at the British Cardiovascular Society conference in Manchester, Advanced Echo in Edinburgh, the European Society of Cardiology conference in London and EuroEcho in Berlin as well as at BSEcho 2024 in Edinburgh.
