Membership Resources committee

The Membership Resources committee aims to provide you with the information, knowledge and examples of best practice you need to deliver the best echo services possible. We all want to innovate in our practice, but we don’t always have the time. We want to improve our services, develop our own skill sets and identify new/more efficient ways of working.

We recognise that when echocardiographers are under so much pressure we are often forced to put our plans to one side. There isn’t time to draft the business case or research the latest evidence. But what if there was a repository for this type of information? What if you could easily access template business cases and job descriptions, training plans or how to guides? Would that enable you to take your plans forward?

We don’t believe anyone should be reinventing wheels in the current climate! This is the time to pool resources, share expertise and support each other. That is why we have refocussed the previous Communications Committee to look at Membership Resources. Whilst we already aim to provide examples of best practice through ECHO journal and the posters and guidance we issue, our key objective is to build a comprehensive collection of templates, tools and resources to save you time and in light of this, we successfully launched the online Resource Hub in July 2023. You can visit the Resource Hub here.

We are continually seeking the further expansion of the Resource Hub in 2024 so if you have any resources you would like to share on the hub, as well as if there are any specific items you would like us to look for, please email [email protected]
