Change Healthcare, a leading provider of cardiology solutions in the U.K., announced that the most recent evidence-based guidelines developed by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) have been incorporated into the latest release of Change Healthcare’s Cardiology Echo Reporting solution.

Released over the past 18 months, the BSE guidelines have been updated to reflect echocardiography best practice, support optimal diagnostic impact, and include:

  • Normal reference intervals

Current users of the latest release of the Change Healthcare Cardiology Echo solution, version 14.3, are benefitting from updates that provide the necessary range of fields, reference ranges, and flags/warmings to align with BSE guidance.

“Our latest version of the Change Healthcare Cardiology Echo reporting solution is web-based and aligns with the BSE guidelines for reporting,” said Maureen Gardner, Change Healthcare’s clinical lead for cardiology.

“Change Healthcare continues to work with the BSE and our customers to ensure our users have the best tools to achieve and maintain their accreditation, both at the individual and departmental levels.”

Change Healthcare is proud to sponsor this year’s virtual BSE annual conference, scheduled for Oct. 11-16, 2021.
