#MyBSEcho2020

I’m looking forward to hearing our guideline talks. This will be the British Society of Echocardiography's busiest year for guideline releases, with nine guidelines anticipated to be published this year! We are fortunate to have different working groups focused on providing practical ‘hands-on’ guidelines to help our members in their day to day practice. For the first time, working groups within the Society guidelines have included a mix of national and international experts. The Education Committee are grateful to our international colleagues for helping develop these guidelines for our members.  These include Professor Luigi Badano, Professor Tom Marwick, Professor Patrizio Lancelotti and Professor Christophe Tribouilloy.

All new BSE guidelines released in 2020 will be presented by one of the lead authors. In addition to the BSE 2020 guidelines session on Saturday 10 October 2020, new guideline presentations also feature in some of the weekday sessions. The guideline presentations will include talks on right heart assessment, diastolic function, all valve guideline updates and also new practical cardio-oncology and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy guidelines. With such a variety of guidelines being presented, there’ll be something for everyone!
