Bursaries

This year we're able to offer significant bursary support to attend BSEcho 2022 in person.

We offer bursaries to enable members to access education opportunities which would otherwise be unavailable to them.

Attendance bursaries

We have 100 bursaries of £100 available to offset full conference attendance fees for the face to face element of BSEcho 2022.

Guidelines
  • Applicants must have a valid British Society of Echocardiography membership at the time of application
  • Applicants must not have been awarded a bursary for BSEcho 2021
  • Applicants can also apply for a travel bursary where they are eligible
  • Applications must be submitted by 12.00 pm on Friday 15 July 2022
  • Awards are at the discretion of the Society and subject to available funding
  • Reimbursements will not be made for bookings made before the bursary is awarded. Bursaries will be awarded before the close of early bird booking
  • Applicants will be asked to submit a post-conference report 

Travel bursaries

We have 100 bursaries of up to £100 available to offset travel costs for the full conference face to face element of BSEcho 2022.

Guidelines
  • Applicants must have a valid British Society of Echocardiography membership at the time of application
  • Applicants must have a journey of over 100 miles to the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London SW1P 3EE
  • Applicants must not have been awarded a bursary for BSEcho 2021
  • Applicants can also apply for an attendance bursary where they are eligible
  • Applications must be submitted by 12.00 pm on Friday 15 July 2022
  • Awards are at the discretion of the Society and subject to available funding
  • Reimbursement will be made after the conference and is subject to the provision of tickets and/or receipts and confirmed conference attendance
  • Applicants will be asked to submit a post-conference report
